STAYZ REELAXED CHARTERS with Captain Matt Stasiak. I’m a Certified USCG Captain and Register Boat Captain for Ohio with 15 years experience on the great lakes. I run walleye charters from Loraine to Conneaut Ohio. Walleye fishing on Lake Erie is a popular activity due to the lake’s abundance of this species. The peak season for walleye fishing occurs in the fall, spring and summer, with prime fishing locations stretching from Port Clinton OH all the way to Erie PA.
During a guide trip, you can expect to learn techniques for finding and catching walleye, as well as tips for properly handling them after they’re caught. We also offer many places to take your fish for cleaning if you do not choose to do it yourself.

STAYZ REELAXED WITH CAPTAIN MATT STASIAK. I’ll meet you at a pre determined launch ramp depending on the time of year. I will provide all of the life jackets along with rods, reels and lures if needed for a successful day on the water. But you’re more than welcome to bring your own equipment. You need to bring food and drinks for the day and there’s a cooler on board to keep everything cool and fresh. Don’t forget your sunscreen (NO SPRAY SUNSCREEN) and rain gear if showers are in the forecast. You’ll also need a cooler for your catch and a State Fishing License that can be purchased at the local bait shop or online.
Not only will Captain Matt help you catch more fish on Lake Erie, he can also offer valuable information to help you become an all-around better angler! Matt is also a US Coast Guard licensed captain, certified in First Aid and CPR with commercial insurance to ensure quality and compliance to State and Federal laws.
